Internship: Native web app development

Definition

Q3 is a web-based application for machine maintenance and we strive for error-free maintenance. We provide an application for maintenance and although we have a separate web application for tablet/smartphone, companies are also asking for a native app. Please note that the assignment is not to develop an app, but to develop a proof of concept so that we can run our existing application as a native web app. Please see below the specific requirements underlying the research project.

Objective

Each client has a separate environment (url), how could that work in an app? An update should never interfere with the client's work process.
We are looking for a solution that works on all platforms with a 5+ year lifespan, where code maintenance is minimal. We expect a good case for the choices you make.
We invoke the camera in our web app, among other things to scan barcodes, this has drawbacks with focusing. Can we do this better through our native app?

Who are we?

Q3 Concept B.V. has proven software for maintenance and management. At the office we have an informal working atmosphere with flexible working hours. Our customers are located in the Netherlands and Belgium with big names like Bosch, Haribo, Eneco, Hessing, Philips and VDL.
