Direct time savings through routes

When work belongs to multiple objects, a "route" can be used in the Q3 system. In this route the individual work orders are bundled and the order of the objects to be checked is fixed, possibly with an inspection list per object.

This gives gains in administration while still recording on the object itself. By working in the system via a tablet, a follow-up action can be recorded immediately and sent by e-mail to the person in charge of the department. This keeps them informed online. This solution has created gains in communication, hours, safety and the environment.

Cost savings from counter readings or running hours

The majority of companies use a maintenance concept or a multi-year plan to manage preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment or production lines. By properly handling this concept, cost savings are possible. One of these savings may be revising the choice from TAO (frequency) to GAO (measurement). This method is also chosen when the risk of failure is relatively high relative to the cost of measurement and the time of loss of function is easily predictable. By recording measurement results on a regular basis (e.g., operating hours), the intensity of use is visible. When reaching predetermined usage units, an action is automatically generated. This action, in turn, usually leads to preventive maintenance. When these measurement results are recorded in an automated system, the software can estimate an expected next maintenance action.
